Items of Interest in My Apple II Collection

Especially interesting items in my collection of orginial Apple II related stuff.  Some of this stuff, I've seen no mention of, anywhere else on the web.

Issues 1-6 of Apple's Contact Newsletter

        Newsletter

Apple sent these newsletters to early owners.  Number 1 is dated May, 1978 and Number 6 is dated October, 1979.  One issue has a piece of the back page cut out.  I think that was the certificate used to get $100.00 off the Disk II disk drive, that I pre-ordered.  Other interesting items is directions on how to add the color killer circuit to rev 0 PC boards and the announcement of the Disk II floppy drive.

Volumes 3-5 had an index,  a copy of which is shown below.  I remember trying to make sense of LISP, which was a popular artificial intelligence language, at the time, but there were too many parentheses for me.

Applesoft/Firmware Card Box

Applesoft Card Box

This is my original Applesoft II BASIC Card box.  It probably dates from the first introduction of the card, which occurred in mid 1978.  The card was later called the firmware card.  After the introduction of the Apple II plus, there was a version offered, that included Integer BASIC.  The box is now empty, as I saved it to store miniature soldiers for years and years.   I don't have any of the contents of the box, other than the firmware card, which is installed in my Apple II.
