Spring, 2003.  Male Cichlasoma Sajica.  See more fish pictures on my tropical fish keeping pages.  This is one of my best shots with very true to life colors.  Taken with a 35-105mm macro zoom lens as a test of it's near macro capabiliites.  The flash was placed off to the left of the camera to prevent reflections off of the aquarium glass.
