Colorado River

This is about as close as we got to the Colorado river. We had hiked about 4 or 5 miles and we decided we had gone far enough. We took a break in the shade of a rock outcropping near here. We were amazed to see a jogger going up the trail with a small quart bottle of water and nothing more in terms of supplies.
